Concrete may not be particularly glamorous to think about. It’s often taken for granted in our society today. Concrete is foundational, it’s structural, and it’s core to much of what we build and how we expand. These words describe much about our company, far beyond the concrete we provide for Bryan/College Station and the areas beyond. Founder Greg Boyd grew up in the area with a father who spent much of his life in construction. After graduating from Texas A&M and dappling in a few industries, he returned to construction. When working with companies manufacturing concrete, he saw room for change and room for great improvement. Starting out with a converted plant and five used trucks, Boyd Ready Mix, Inc. was born in March of 1996.

The growth experienced since 1996 has matched the rapid growth the Brazos Valley has seen. Boyd Ready Mix, Inc. is the only entity with consistent management, ownership, and experience within the timeframe we have been in the area. This provides a comfort level for our customers knowing that should there be an issue down the road, you won't be dealing with a stranger. 

Our desire is to serve the needs of the community from large scale building projects to the DIY homeowner.

Serving our community goes far beyond the fabrication and selling of our product. We are embedded in our community and want to give back to the people who we consider friends, family, and neighbors. With the donation of materials for little league dugouts, concrete pads for K9 units, restoration projects for historical sites, and giving to church and ministry organizations, we want the success we see to flow back into our community. There are multiple organizations from education projects to CCA endeavors that mean a great deal to us personally and we graciously commit our time and resources to. Of course, you won’t find us far from tracking the latest Aggie football or baseball game score either.
